We convened on Wednesday, September 30th for a far-reaching and momentous discussion on CoMotion LIVE: California: Ground Zero of the Hydrogen Revolution.
California is already leading the nation — and most countries around the world — in transitioning to renewable energy: over one-third of California’s electricity is now generated from renewable resources like geothermal, solar and wind. And California is now committed to banning all sales of new gasoline and diesel cars by 2035. The Golden State is also a leader in what many are seeing as the most important zero-emission transportation fuel of the future: hydrogen.
Joining us for this critical conversation are a group of forward thinkers working to advance the hydrogen economy across a number of important applications: Olabisi Boyle, Vice President, Product Planning and Mobility Strategy at Hyundai Motor America, maker of the world’s only fuel cell SUV; Craig Scott, who as Director of Advanced Technologies at Toyota Motor North America oversees the world’s first Class-8 heavy duty fuel cell truck pilot and led the introduction of the hydrogen-powered Mirai; Val Miftakhov, Founder & CEO of ZeroAvia, creator of aviation’s first zero-emissions powertrain — run on hydrogen, of course; and Arnab Chatterjee, whose focus is on mobility and energy transition as Manager, Heavy Duty / Supply at Shell Hydrogen. CoMotion CEO John Rossant will moderate this important discussion.
